उभयोः पतिते छत्रे तथैव पतितौ ध्वजौ ॥
उभौ रुधिरसिक्ताङ्गाव् उभौ च विजयैषिणौ ॥
स्रवद्भिः शोणितं गात्रैः प्रस्रुताव् इव वारणौ ॥
अन्योन्यम् अभिविध्येतां जीवितान्तकरैः शरैः ॥

ubhayoḥ patite chatre tathaiva patitau dhvajau ||
ubhau rudhirasiktāṅgāv ubhau ca vijayaiṣiṇau ||
sravadbhiḥ śoṇitaṃ gātraiḥ prasrutāv iva vāraṇau ||
anyonyam abhividhyetāṃ jīvitāntakaraiḥ śaraiḥ ||

अनुवाद

Of both, the parasols fell, and likewise the banners fell; both with limbs sprinkled with blood, and both seeking victory; with limbs streaming blood, like two elephants in must, they pierced each other with life-ending arrows.
