अनुवाद

And the sky blazed with meteors, and birds fell in great numbers upon bodies, as the Diademed One, enraged, with his tawny-stringed bow, slew his enemies with [the bow] Ajagava. The Diademed One, of great fame, victor of armies, with his great bow — with his own arrows — struck down with arrows the heroes of Kuru who rode upon the choicest horses and in the yoke of the finest elephants. And heavy maces, iron bars, swords, and shaktis, and great weapons terrible to behold — the kings, seizing them, suddenly rushed upon Partha. He, the great bowman, the hero, turned those who had surged forth — with their chariots, horses, elephants, and hosts of foot-soldiers — into increasers of the kingdom of Yama, in that battle, deprived of all weapons and life.
