देवनागरी

पुरुषः एव इदं विश्वं कर्म तपः ब्रह्म पर-अमृतम् ।
एतत् यः वेद निहितं गुहायां सः अविद्याग्रन्थिं विकिरति इह सोम्य ॥

puruṣaḥ eva idaṃ viśvaṃ karma tapaḥ brahma para-amṛtam |
etat yaḥ veda nihitaṃ guhāyāṃ saḥ avidyāgranthiṃ vikirati iha somya ||

अनुवाद

The Puruṣa is verily all this: action [and] austerity, Brahman [and] the highest immortality. He who knows Him hidden in the secret place [of the heart] — he, even here, O dear one, cuts asunder the knot of ignorance.
