译文
"As those fires were being kindled, blazed, and were fed with oblations, as flower offerings were made and the fires stood along the riverbank, that Gangadvara, O king, shone forth exceedingly, adorned by those great souls -- learned, purified by bathing, self-controlled, standing on the path of the righteous."

Here the saintly adorn the place far more than the place adorns them. It is telling that Gangadvara "shines with great souls": not splendor but the presence of the righteous makes a place beautiful. The true ornament of the earth is the saints who dwell upon it. Thus the scripture reveals the beauty of the pious encampment; and its splendor comes from the purity of those gathered there.
