अथ एनाम् अब्रवीत् कृष्णः तस्मिन् वीरसमागमे रोदिष्यन्ति स्त्रियः हि एवं येषाम् क्रुद्धा असि भामिनिatha enām abravīt kṛṣṇaḥ tasmin vīrasamāgame rodiṣyanti striyaḥ hi evaṃ yeṣām kruddhā asi bhāminithen Krishna said to her, in that assembly of heroes: thus shall the women weep of those against whom you are enraged, O beautiful one
बीभत्सुशरसंछन्नान् शोणितौघपरिप्लुतान् निहतान् जीवितम् त्यक्त्वा शयानान् वसुधातलेbībhatsuśarasaṃchannān śoṇitaughapariplutān nihatān jīvitam tyaktvā śayānān vasudhātalethey shall see them covered with the arrows of Bibhatsu, drenched in streams of blood, slain, having given up their lives, lying upon the ground
यत् समर्थम् पाण्डवानाम् तत् करिष्यामि मा शुचः सत्यम् ते प्रतिजानामि राज्ञां राज्ञी भविष्यसिyat samartham pāṇḍavānām tat kariṣyāmi mā śucaḥ satyam te pratijānāmi rājñāṃ rājñī bhaviṣyasiwhatever lies within the power to do for the Pandavas, that I shall do; grieve not; truly I promise you: you shall become queen of kings
पतेत् द्यौः हिमवान् शीर्येत् पृथिवी शकलीभवेत् शुष्येत् तोयनिधिः कृष्णे न मे मोघम् वचः भवेत्patet dyauḥ himavān śīryet pṛthivī śakalībhavet śuṣyet toyanidhiḥ kṛṣṇe na me mogham vacaḥ bhavetlet heaven fall, let the Himavat crumble, let the earth break into fragments and the ocean dry up, O Krishna, but my word shall never prove vain
