तः क्रुद्धस् त्रिभिर् बाणैर् भीसेनं सन्न्
भित्य दृढं युद्धे तान् र्वान् प्रत्यविध्य
त्रिभिस् त्रिभिर् हेष्वासो मानान् हाथान्
ते ऽपि तं प्रत्यविध्यन्त प्तभिः प्तभिः रैः
शिण्डिनस् तः क्रुद्धः क्षुप्रे हाथः
नुश् चिच्छे रे प्रसन्न् भा

译文

Then, enraged, with three arrows, as if laughing, having struck Bhimasena hard in battle, [Kritavarman] pierced them all in return -- with three each, the great archer, [those] striving great warriors. They too pierced him in return with seven arrows each. Then the great warrior [Kritavarman], enraged, cut Shikhandin's bow in battle with a razor-tipped [arrow], as if laughing, O Bharata.
