धृतराष्ट्र उवाच
अजय्यं रथम् आस्थाय वासुदेवस्य सात्यकिः ॥
विरथं कृतवान् कर्णं वासुदेवसमो युवा ॥
दारुकेण समायुक्तं स्वबाहुबलदर्पितः ॥
कच्चिद् अन्यं समारूढः स रथं सात्यकिः पुनः ॥
एतद् इच्छाम्य् अहं श्रोतुं कुशलो ह्य् असि भाषितुम् ॥
असह्यं तम् अहं मन्ये तन् ममाचक्ष्व संजय ॥
संजय उवाच
शृणु राजन् यथा तस्य रथम् अन्यं महामतिः ॥
दारुकस्यानुजस् तूर्णं कल्पनाविधिकल्पितम् ॥

etad icchāmy ahaṃ śrotuṃ kuśalo hy asi bhāṣitum ||
asahyaṃ tam ahaṃ manye tan mamācakṣva saṃjaya ||
saṃjaya uvāca
śṛṇu rājan yathā tasya ratham anyaṃ mahāmatiḥ ||
dārukasyānujas tūrṇaṃ kalpanāvidhikalpitam ||
[Dhritarashtra:] "Having mounted the unconquerable chariot of Vasudeva, Satyaki, the young man equal to Vasudeva, made Karna chariotless. [On that chariot], driven by Daruka, proud in the strength of his own arm — did he, Satyaki, mount yet another chariot again? This I wish to hear, for you are skilled in telling; I consider him unbearable to withstand; tell me of that, Sanjaya." [Sanjaya:] "Listen, O king, how for him another chariot the wise younger brother of Daruka swiftly built, according to the rules of the craft."

Even Dhritarashtra admits Satyaki is unconquerable: truth wrests confession even from an adversary. It is notable that Krishna's chariot is called "unconquerable": support given by the Lord is itself unconquerable. The verse teaches that under the shelter of the Supreme even a man becomes unconquerable; and one to whom the Lord gives His own chariot and His own charioteer gains a strength before which even the envious judgment of a foe falls silent.
