ये हि संस्पर्शजा भोगा दुःखयोनय एव ते ।
आद्यन्तवन्तः कौन्तेय न तेषु रमते बुधः ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

ye hi saṁsparśajā bhogā duḥkhayonaya eva te |
ādyantavantaḥ kaunteya na teṣu ramate budhaḥ ||

“Indeed, those pleasures born from the contact of the senses with their objects are a source of suffering. O son of Kuntī, they have a beginning and an end, and therefore the wise person does not seek delight in them.”
