Here the attackers perish in the fire by their own doing. It is significant that those who attacked fall into the flame: those who rise against ones sheltered from above turn their attack into their own destruction. In this lies a lesson: enmity toward the Lord's work is ruinous for those who wage it. Thus the scripture reveals the fate of the attackers; and Arjuna's strength proves unconquerable.
