प्रममाथोत्तमाङ्गानि बीभत्सुर् निशितैः शरैः ॥
कृष्णश् च सुमहातेजाश् चक्रेणारिनिहा तदा ॥
दैत्यदानवसंघानां चकार कदनं महत् ॥
अथापरे शरैर् विद्धाश् चक्रवेगेरितास् तदा ॥
वेलाम् इव समासाद्य व्यातिष्ठन्त महौजसः ॥

Traducción

"Amid them, shouting and pouring down a rain of weapons, Vibhatsu crushed heads with sharp arrows; and Krishna, of great splendor, slayer of foes, with his chakra then wrought great slaughter upon the hosts of daityas and danavas; while others, struck by arrows, driven by the force of the chakra, came to a halt like waves reaching the shore, mighty ones."

Comentario

Here the Lord's chakra brings destruction upon the enemies. It is significant that the onslaught of the attackers breaks against Krishna and Arjuna as waves break against the shore: before the stronghold of the Lord and His devotee, the enemy is powerless. Here the Sudarshana chakra scatters the hosts of evil. Thus the scripture reveals the invincibility of the two; and the enemies recoil like the sea from a cliff.
