Here Vidura's love for his nephews pours out in an embrace. It is telling that the stern envoy embraces the Pandavas "out of love": beneath the official errand beats a kinsman's heart. This shows that the righteous love the righteous without pretense. Thus scripture displays a warm reunion; and Vidura, honored by them, delivers the greeting with genuine tenderness.
