विसृष्टेषु त्वया राजन् पाण्डवेषु महात्मसु ॥
ततो ऽहं प्रेषयिष्यामि धृतराष्ट्रस्य शीघ्रगान् ॥
आगमिष्यन्ति कौन्तेयाः कुन्ती च सह कृष्णया ॥

Here the embassy concludes with the orderly arrangement of the return. It is telling that Vidura foresees everything: Drupada's leave, the messengers, a safe arrival -- a good envoy sees a task through to the end. This is diligence in the service of peace. Thus scripture displays the completeness of Vidura's mission; and the Pandavas' return to Hastinapura already stands at the threshold.
