यः सर्वभूतप्रशमे निविष्टः; सत्यो मृदुर् दानकृच् छुद्धभावः ॥
अतीव संज्ञायते ज्ञातिमध्ये; महामणिर् जात्य इव प्रसन्नः ॥
य आत्मनापत्रपते भृशं नरः; स सर्वलोकस्य गुरुर् भवत्य् उत ॥
अनन्ततेजाः सुमनाः समाहितः; स्वतेजसा सूर्य इवावभासते ॥
वने जाताः शापदग्धस्य राज्ञः; पाण्डोः पुत्राः पञ्च पञ्चेन्द्रकल्पाः ॥
त्वयैव बाला वर्धिताः शिक्षिताश् च; तवादेशं पालयन्त्य् आम्बिकेय ॥
प्रदायैषाम् उचितं तात राज्यं; सुखी पुत्रैः सहितो मोदमानः ॥
न देवानां नापि च मानुषाणां; भविष्यसि त्वं तर्कणीयो नरेन्द्र ॥

Possessed of a pure heart and boundless energy, and withdrawn within himself, he shines by his own energy like the sun itself. To King Pandu, consumed by the curse of the Brahmin, five sons were born in the forest, resembling the five Indras. O son of Ambika, you have raised these children and taught them everything; they obey your commands. Restoring to them their rightful share of the kingdom, O sovereign, be happy and rejoice together with your sons. Then, O king, you will inspire trust in both gods and men.
