अनुवाद

The elephants, having burst the ranks with the tips of their tusks and tossed them on high, flung the great chariot-fighters along with their chariots -- some with wheels, some without wheels. Chariots without riders, and horses left without riders, and elephants with slain riders, tormented by arrows, scattered in every direction. There the father struck down his son, and the son likewise his father; such was the battle-turmoil: nothing at all was discernible.
