दीनानुकम्पिनां या च सततं संविभागिनाम् ॥
पैशुन्याच् च निवृत्तानां तां गतिं व्रज पुत्रक ॥
व्रतिनां धर्मशीलानां गुरुशुश्रूषिणाम् अपि ॥
अमोघातिथिनां या च तां गतिं व्रज पुत्रक ॥
ऋतुकाले स्वकां पत्नीं गच्छतां या मनस्विनाम् ॥
न चान्यदारसेवीनां तां गतिं व्रज पुत्रक ॥

dīnānukampināṃ yā ca satataṃ saṃvibhāginām ||
paiśunyāc ca nivṛttānāṃ tāṃ gatiṃ vraja putraka ||
vratināṃ dharmaśīlānāṃ guruśuśrūṣiṇām api ||
amoghātithināṃ yā ca tāṃ gatiṃ vraja putraka ||
ṛtukāle svakāṃ patnīṃ gacchatāṃ yā manasvinām ||
na cānyadārasevīnāṃ tāṃ gatiṃ vraja putraka ||

शब्दशः अर्थ
संस्कृतIASTअर्थ
दीनानुकम्पिनाम्dīnānukampināmcompassionate to the poor; merciful to the poor
या चyā caand whatever [destiny]; and whatever destiny
सततम् संविभागिनाम्satatam saṃvibhāgināmalways sharing [with others]; always sharing
पैशुन्यात् च निवृत्तानाम्paiśunyāt ca nivṛttānāmand turned away from slander; and free of tale-bearing
ताम् गतिम् व्रज पुत्रकtām gatim vraja putrakaattain that goal, my little son; attain that destiny, my son
व्रतिनाम् धर्मशीलानाम्vratinām dharmaśīlānāmkeepers of vows, righteous in nature; vow-keepers, righteous in nature
गुरुशुश्रूषिणाम् अपिguruśuśrūṣiṇām apiand those who serve their teachers; and those who serve their gurus
अमोघातिथिनाम् च याamoghātithinām ca yāand those from whom no guest departs empty [the hospitable]; and those hospitable to guests
ताम् गतिम् व्रज पुत्रकtām gatim vraja putrakaattain that goal, my little son; attain that destiny, my son
ऋतुकाले स्वकाम् पत्नीम्ṛtukāle svakām patnīmat the appointed time [only] their own wife; at the proper time only their own wife
गच्छताम् या मनस्विनाम्gacchatām yā manasvināmto which [go] [those] wise ones who come; to which the wise go
न च अन्यदारसेविनाम्na ca anyadārasevināmand do not cling to others' wives; and do not cling to others' wives
ताम् गतिम् व्रज पुत्रकtām gatim vraja putrakaattain that goal, my little son; attain that destiny, my son
अनुवाद

"And whatever [destiny belongs] to those compassionate to the poor, always sharing [with others], and turned away from slander — attain that destiny, my son. To vow-keepers, righteous in nature, who serve their teachers, hospitable to guests — attain that destiny, my son. To the wise, who go [only] to their own wife at the proper time and do not cling to others' wives — attain that destiny, my son."
