संजय उवाच
एवम् उक्त्वा त्वरन् द्रोणः स्पृष्ट्वाम्भो वर्म भास्वरम् ॥
आबबन्धाद्भुततमं जपन् मन्त्रं यथाविधि ॥
रणे तस्मिन् सुमहति विजयाय सुतस्य ते ॥
विसिस्मापयिषुर् लोकं विद्यया ब्रह्मवित्तमः ॥

visismāpayiṣur lokaṃ vidyayā brahmavittamaḥ ||

अनुवाद

So having spoken, hastening, Drona, having touched water, bound on the shining, most wondrous armor, murmuring the mantra according to rite, in that mighty battle for the victory of your son, wishing by his knowledge to astonish the world -- he, the foremost knower of Brahman.
