गिरिरूपधराश् चापि पतिताः कुञ्जरोत्तमाः ॥
अञ्जनस्य कुले जाता वामनस्य च भारत ॥
सुप्रतीककुले जाता महापद्मकुले तथा ॥
ऐरावणकुले चैव तथान्येषु कुलेषु च ॥
जाता दन्तिवरा राजञ् शेरते बहवो हताः ॥
वनायुजान् पार्वतीयान् काम्बोजारट्टबाह्लिकान् ॥
तथा हयवरान् राजन् निजघ्ने तत्र सात्यकिः ॥
नानादेशसमुत्थांश् च नानाजात्यांश् च पत्तिनः ॥
निजघ्ने तत्र शैनेयः शतशो ऽथ सहस्रशः ॥

girirūpadharāś cāpi patitāḥ kuñjarottamāḥ ||
añjanasya kule jātā vāmanasya ca bhārata ||
supratīkakule jātā mahāpadmakule tathā ||
airāvaṇakule caiva tathānyeṣu kuleṣu ca ||
jātā dantivarā rājañ śerate bahavo hatāḥ ||
vanāyujān pārvatīyān kāmbojāraṭṭabāhlikān ||
tathā hayavarān rājan nijaghne tatra sātyakiḥ ||
nānādeśasamutthāṃś ca nānājātyāṃś ca pattinaḥ ||
nijaghne tatra śaineyaḥ śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||

वामनस्य च भारतvāmanasya ca bhārataand of Vamana, O Bharata; and of Vamana, O descendant of Bharata

तथा अन्येषु कुलेषु चtathā anyeṣu kuleṣu caand likewise [in] other lines; and likewise in other lines
जाताः दन्तिवराः राजन्jātāḥ dantivarāḥ rājanborn, the finest tuskers, O king; born, the finest tuskers, O king
शेरते बहवः हताःśerate bahavaḥ hatāḥlie many, slain; lie many, struck down
वनायुजान् पार्वतीयान्vanāyujān pārvatīyānof Vanayu, of the mountains; of Vanayu, of the mountains

अनुवाद

"And the finest elephants, bearing the form of mountains, born in the line of Anjana and of Vamana, O Bharata, and in the line of Airavana, and likewise in other lines — the finest tuskers, O king — lie there, many, slain. Satyaki slew there the finest horses of Vanayu, of the mountain-folk, and of Kamboja-Aratta-Bahlika. And Shaineya slew there, by hundreds and even thousands, those risen from various lands and footmen of various races."
