त्रिशूलपाणिं वरदं खड्गचर्मधरं प्रभुम् ॥
पिनाकिनं खण्डपरशुं लोकानां पतिम् ईश्वरम् ॥
प्रपद्ये शरणं देवं शरण्यं चीरवाससम् ॥
नमस् तस्मै सुरेशाय यस्य वैश्रवणः सखा ॥
सुवाससे नमो नित्यं सुव्रताय सुधन्विने ॥
स्रुवहस्ताय देवाय सुखधन्वाय धन्विने ॥
धन्वन्तराय धनुषे धन्वाचार्याय धन्विने ॥

triśūlapāṇiṃ varadaṃ khaḍgacarmadharaṃ prabhum ||

अनुवाद

"With a trident in hand, the giver of boons, bearing sword and shield, the lord; with Pinaka, with the khanda axe, the lord of the worlds, Ishvara; I take refuge in the god, the granter of protection, clad in bark garments. Homage to that lord of the gods, whose friend is Vaishravana [Kubera]; in beautiful garments — homage always, to him of good vows, with a beautiful bow. To the god with a sacrificial ladle in hand, with an auspicious bow, the archer; skilled in archery, the bow itself, the teacher of the [art of the] bow, the archer."
