अजातशत्रुर् आसाद्य मुमुदे भ्रातृभिः सह ॥

Then Yudhishthira, having honored Krishna as was fitting, joyfully embraced Bhimasena and Arjuna. And when Jarasandha had perished, Ajatashatru [Yudhishthira], beholding the victory won by the two brothers, rejoiced together with his brothers.

The name Ajatashatru -- "he to whom no enemy is born" -- resounds here with meaning: with the fall of Jarasandha the last great obstacle has been removed. It is telling that the king's joy lies not in his own triumph but in the success of his brothers: "the victory wrought by the two brothers." The verse reveals the harmony of a righteous family, where the elder rejoices not in his own rise but in the valor of the younger; and the unity of loving hearts is the very foundation on which every righteous kingdom rests.
