Endowed with all auspicious marks and worthy to rule the three worlds, Yudhishthira is obedient to your commands. Let him, O Dhritarashtra, rule the earth, to the exclusion of all your sons. Yudhishthira is the best of all your heirs. Endowed with energy and wisdom, versed in the truths of religion and gain, Yudhishthira, the greatest among the righteous, O king of kings, has endured much suffering out of kindness and compassion, in order to preserve his good name.
