स तस्यैव प्रसादाद् वै हन्याद् एव रिपुर् बली ॥
नागत्वा शंकरस्थानं भगवान् दृश्यते हरः ॥
दृष्ट्वा हनिष्यथ रिपुं क्षिप्रं गच्छत मन्दरम् ॥
यत्रास्ते तपसां योनिर् दक्षयज्ञविनाशनः ॥
पिनाकी सर्वभूतेशो भगनेत्रनिपातनः ॥
ते गत्वा सहिता देवा ब्रह्मणा सह मन्दरम् ॥
अपश्यंस् तेजसां राशिं सूर्यकोटिसमप्रभम् ॥

译文

"It is only by his [Shiva's] grace that this mighty foe can be slain. Without coming to Shankara's abode, the lord Hara is not seen; having seen him, strike down the enemy. Go swiftly to Mandara, where dwells the source of austerities, the destroyer of Daksha's sacrifice." Going together with Brahma to Mandara, the gods beheld a mass of splendor, blazing like ten million suns.
