That elephant of Jalasandha's, with head and arms fallen, a headless trunk, dreadful to behold, he drenched in blood. Having slain Jalasandha in that battle, Satvata, hastening, cast down the son of the Nishada, the driver, from the elephant's back, O lord of the people. The elephant of Jalasandha, its body drenched in blood, carried on the dangling body still clinging to its high seat.
