译文
"We have crossed the hard-to-cross great ocean of Drona's array, in battle [as if] surrounded by man-eaters through the might of Jalasandha. And the rest of the host I deem [as] a wretched little river, [easily] crossable, shallow; urge on the horses without confusion."

One who has overcome the hardest counts the rest as small: "kunadikām iva" -- like a wretched little river. It is telling that a great obstacle overcome diminishes all lesser ones in one's eyes. The verse teaches that victory over the hardest trial grants fearlessness before the easy: one who has crossed the ocean will not fear a brook, and the experience of overcoming the great renders small hindrances trifling for the resolved spirit.
