Translation

Vaishampayana said: 'Then Vidura, the king, and Bhishma together with their kinsmen performed the shraddha for Pandu, filled with funeral offerings; and having fed thousands of Kurus and the foremost brahmins, having given the foremost of the twice-born streams of jewels and even choice villages, the citizens, taking the purified Pandavas, bulls among the Bharatas, entered Hastinapura. All the citizens and country-folk constantly grieved for that bull among the Bharatas, as for their own departed kinsman.'
