Here is the highest glory of the hall of riches: within it dwells Shiva himself — the friend of Kubera. It is significant that the greatest of ascetics, the lord of renunciation, is friend to the lord of prosperity: wealth is blessed when holiness stands beside it, and prosperity does not oppose renunciation when it serves dharma. Thus the scripture shows wealth graced by the presence of the Lord; and Narada concludes his account.
