Oṁ. He who is the God Nṛsiṃha — He is the Lord, and He is the twelve Ādityas. Earth, mid-air, heaven! To him be bow upon bow.

The nineteenth name is the twelve Ādityas, the sons of Aditi.
Aditi means “the boundless, the unbound”; she is the mother of the gods. Her sons are counted as twelve and matched with the twelve months: the sun of each month is its own Āditya.
That is, in this name the year is named — that is, time.
The count of thirty-three is filled out: eight, eleven, twelve — thirty-one; the two besides are named differently by different books.
Note that the next names will leave the gods and go through the universe: the planets, the elements, time, death.
The order of the litany is by this point visible entire. It began with Brahmā, passed through the goddesses, the syllable, the Vedas, the rite, the classes of gods — and now descends to that of which the world is made.
