ओं यो ह वै नृसिंहो देवो भगवान् यच्च सर्वम् भूर्भुवः स्वस्तस्मै वै नमो नमः

The last name of the litany: sarvam, “all”.
Thirty-one paragraphs enumerated one by one — Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Maheśvara, the goddesses, the syllable, the Vedas, the fires, the worlds, the gods, the planets, the elements, time, death, the breath, the luminaries, the universe, the soul. And now it is said simply: all.
This is the right end of such a list. To continue would be to pretend the list could be complete.
Note that the litany of the Atharvaśiras ends with the same word: there too the thirty-second name is sarvam.
The coincidence is not accidental: both books count to thirty-two and both end with “all”.
And the number thirty-two is the very one that in the second Upaniṣad was named the measure of the anuṣṭubh: thirty-two syllables. The litany is counted by the measure of the mantra.
