Who constantly repeats this king of mantras, the Nṛsiṃha, in the anuṣṭubh metre, he attracts the gods, attracts the yakṣas, attracts the nāgas, attracts the planets, attracts men, attracts all, attracts all.

The fourth fruit: ākarṣaṇa, “attraction”.
This is the second of the six acts of the science of mantras — the one by which one summons and brings.
The list goes from above downward and ends with men: gods, yakṣas, nāgas, planets, men.
Note that here too the book does not soften. It is said that the repeater attracts — both gods and men.
Of this one should speak honestly, for here runs a boundary the tradition sees clearly.
This power is never declared a goal in the śāstras, and possessing it is not counted a mark of the accomplished. On the contrary: the siddhis, “perfections”, are numbered among the yogins' hindrances, because people stop at them.
The book lists them as fruits and goes on. In five paragraphs it will speak of that “whence the yogins do not return”; and it is that which will be named paramaṁ dhāma, “the highest abode” — not the attracting of gods.
The order is itself the appraisal.
