Here the woman leads Indra toward a sight where the mystery will be disclosed. It is telling that she does not explain in words but leads to vision: some things are grasped not by speech but by the eye. Here it is seen how Providence leads the proud god toward a lesson he will witness with his own eyes. Thus scripture shows a mysterious guidance; and following her Indra walks toward a meeting that will humble his pride.
