स्वयम् एको ऽनिशं राजंल् लोकांल् लोकपितामहः ॥

Traducción
"Self-luminous, surpassing the moon, the sun, and fire, it blazes on the vault of heaven, as if outshining the sun; in it dwells that Lord, the Forefather of the worlds, himself alone, unceasingly fashioning the worlds by his divine maya."

Here Brahma "fashions the worlds by divine maya." A distinction must be kept: the creator Brahma is himself endowed with power from above — the maya by which he creates is the power of the Supreme. It is telling that even the Forefather acts not from himself, but by a strength given to him. So the text reveals a hierarchy of creation reaching up to the Supreme; and next, who stands before the Creator.
