वने काश् चिज् जले काश् चित् काश् चिद् वेश्मसु चाङ्गनाः ॥
यथादेशं यथाप्रीति चिक्रीडुः कृष्णपार्थयोः ॥

Here all the merrymaking is arranged by the will of the Lord and his friend. It is telling that the amusements proceed "as directed" by Krishna and Arjuna: even in small things they remain the ones who order it. Under a good hand even leisure is well ordered. Thus scripture reveals order within the merriment; and the shared joy flows under their guidance.
