उपसृष्टं तु तं कृष्णौ भ्राजमानं द्विजोत्तमम् ॥
अर्जुनो वासुदेवश् च तूर्णम् उत्पत्य तस्थतुः ॥

Here even the Lord Himself rises to greet a brahmin. It is significant that Krishna and Arjuna leap up at once, honoring the brahmin guest: even the Lord shows reverence to a brahmin and to a guest. Reverence for a brahmin and hospitality are an unchanging dharma. Thus the scripture shows the courtesy of Krishna and Arjuna; and the reception of this guest will open the way to a great deed — the burning of the Khandava forest.
