तत्र गत्वा महात्मानौ कृष्णौ परपुरंजयौ ॥
महार्हासनयो राजंस् ततस् तौ संनिषीदतुः ॥
तत्र पूर्वव्यतीतानि विक्रान्तानि रतानि च ॥
बहूनि कथयित्वा तौ रेमाते पार्थमाधवौ ॥

Here the two Krishnas — the Lord and His friend — delight in conversation. It is significant that both bear the name "Krishna": their closeness is so great that they share even a name. Here is the inseparability of Nara and Narayana, rejoicing in one another. Thus the scripture shows the intimacy of their conversation; and in this blissful hour Agni will appear before them.
