ततः वायुः महाघोषः क्षोभयन् सर्वसागरान्tataḥ vāyuḥ mahāghoṣaḥ kṣobhayan sarvasāgarānthen the wind, loud-roaring, stirring all the oceans,
वियत्स्थः अजनयन् मेघान् जलधारामुचः आकुलान्viyatsthaḥ ajanayan meghān jaladhārāmucaḥ ākulānstanding in the sky, engendered clouds, pouring forth turbulent streams;
तद्विघातार्थम् असृजत् अर्जुनः अपि अस्त्रम् उत्तमम्tadvighātārtham asṛjat arjunaḥ api astram uttamamto destroy that, Arjuna too let loose a superior weapon,

Here weapon answers weapon, element answers element. It is significant that Arjuna disperses Indra's clouds with the wind weapon: the skilled meet force with fitting counterforce. Thus it is disclosed that wise mastery [of weapons] overcomes even heavenly power. Thus the scripture reveals Arjuna's skill; and the sky is cleared once more.
