उदीच्यभोजाश् च तथा कुलान्य् अष्टादशाभिभो ॥
जरासंधभयाद् एव प्रतीचीं दिशम् आश्रिताः ॥
शूरसेना भद्रकारा बोधाः शाल्वाः पटच्चराः ॥
सुस्थराश् च सुकुट्टाश् च कुणिन्दाः कुन्तिभिः सह ॥
शाल्वेयानां च राजानः सोदर्यानुचरैः सह ॥
दक्षिणा ये च पाञ्चालाः पूर्वाः कुन्तिषु कोशलाः ॥
udīcyabhojāś ca tathā kulāny aṣṭādaśābhibho ||
jarāsaṃdhabhayād eva pratīcīṃ diśam āśritāḥ ||
śūrasenā bhadrakārā bodhāḥ śālvāḥ paṭaccarāḥ ||
sustharāś ca sukuṭṭāś ca kuṇindāḥ kuntibhiḥ saha ||
śālveyānāṃ ca rājānaḥ sodaryānucaraiḥ saha ||
dakṣiṇā ye ca pāñcālāḥ pūrvāḥ kuntiṣu kośalāḥ ||
The northern Bhojas, eighteen lineages in number, O lord, took refuge in the western quarter out of fear of Jarasandha; [also] the Shurasenas, Bhadrakaras, Bodhas, Shalvas, Patacharas, Sustharas, Sukuttas, and the Kunindas together with the Kuntis; and the kings of the Shalveyas with their brothers and retinue, and the southern Panchalas, the eastern Koshalas among the Kuntis.

Here whole peoples flee before a single tyrant. It is telling that unrighteous power, left unchecked, turns many into exiles: tolerated evil grows into a calamity for all. Scripture thus shows how dearly the world pays for tyranny left unchecked; and the list of those who flee continues.
