उवाच पार्थिवान् सर्वांस् तत्समक्षं च पाण्डवान् ॥
एष नः शत्रुर् अत्यन्तं पार्थिवाः सात्वतीसुतः ॥
सात्वतानां नृशंसात्मा न हितो ऽनपकारिणाम् ॥
प्राग्ज्योतिषपुरं यातान् अस्माञ् ज्ञात्वा नृशंसकृत् ॥
अदहद् द्वारकाम् एष स्वस्रीयः सन् नराधिपाः ॥

译文

When this had been said, Krishna, gently at first, spoke this word to all the kings and, in their presence, to the Pandavas: "This one is our utmost enemy, O kings, the son of [our kinswoman] Satvati; cruel-hearted toward the Satvatas, unkind even to those who never wronged him. Learning that we had gone to the city of Pragjyotisha, this villain burned Dvaraka, though he was the son of our own sister, O lords of men."
