तथा ब्रुवत एवास्य भगवान् मधुसूदनः ॥
व्यपाहरच् छिरः क्रुद्धश् चक्रेणामित्रकर्षणः ॥
स पपात महाबाहुर् वज्राहत इवाचलः ॥
ततश् चेदिपतेर् देहात् तेजो ऽग्र्यं ददृशुर् नृपाः ॥
उत्पतन्तं महाराज गगनाद् इव भास्करम् ॥

译文

While he was still speaking, at that very instant the enraged Lord Madhusudana, tormentor of foes, severed his head with the discus. And then the kings beheld a supreme radiance rising up from the body of the Chedi-lord, O great king, like the sun from the sky.
