सर्वोपायैर् यतिष्यामि यथा बीभत्सुर् आहवे ॥
पश्यतां धार्तराष्ट्राणां हनिष्यति जयद्रथम् ॥
यस्य यस्य च बीभत्सुर् वधे यत्नं करिष्यति ॥
आशंसे सारथे तत्र भवितास्य ध्रुवो जयः ॥

"I will strive by every means so that Bibhatsu may slay Jayadratha in battle, before the eyes of the sons of Dhritarashtra. And whomever Bibhatsu resolves to slay, I trust, O charioteer, that his victory there will be certain."

The Lord promises "sarvopāyaiḥ yatiṣyāmi", 'I will strive by every means': he does not wait idly for the outcome, but acts. And he concludes with trust: "yasya yasya… vadhe yatnam kariṣyati… bhavitā asya dhruvo jayaḥ" — whomever Arjuna undertakes to slay, victory is certain. It is telling that this certainty rests not on Arjuna's own might, but on the presence of Krishna, who by every means secures the outcome. The verse teaches that the devotee's victory is guaranteed not by himself but by the Lord, who labors 'by every means' for his cause: where God undertakes to help his servant, the outcome is "dhruvaḥ", unshakeable.
