भिद्यते हृदयग्रन्थिः छिद्यन्ते सर्वसंशयाः ।
क्षीयन्ते च अस्य कर्माणि तस्मिन् दृष्टे परावरे ॥

A threefold fruit of vision — three liberations at once. bhidyate hṛdaya-granthiḥ — "the knot of the heart is cut": that tangle of false identification ("I am the body, mine is the world") which holds all the pain of existence (the Kaṭha 6.15 promised: "when all the knots are cut, the mortal becomes immortal"). chidyante sarva-saṁśayāḥ — "all doubts are resolved": not one by one, by arguments, but all at once, by seeing: doubts fed on the non-seeing of the Ground; for one who has seen the Ground there is nothing left to doubt about fundamentals. kṣīyante cāsya karmāṇi — "and his karmas are exhausted": the stock of unspent consequences burns out: the seeds of deeds, deprived of the soil of egoity, do not sprout (Gītā 4.37: "the fire of knowledge turns all karmas to ashes").
tasmin dṛṣṭe parāvare — "when He is seen, the higher-and-lower": dṛṣṭe — seen! — not "understood", not "proved": the knot is cut by vision alone. And He is seen as parāvara — "higher-and-lower" (the very word used of the science handed down in 1.1.2): to behold Him is to behold the whole vertical: the transcendent and the immanent, Him in the heart and Him above the worlds.
The order of the fruits is perfect: first the heart (the knot), then the mind (the doubts), then destiny (the karmas): the healing goes from the depth outward. The world has not changed — the prisoner has been untied; and from that moment everything else is no longer a journey but a going home along an open road.
