शरीरं यदवाप्नोति यच्चाप्युत्क्रामतीश्वरः ।
गृहीत्वैतानि संयाति वायुर्गन्धानिवाशयात् ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
śarīraṁ yad avāpnoti yac cāpy utkrāmatīśvaraḥ |
gṛhītvaitāni saṁyāti vāyur gandhān ivāśayāt ||

Translation
“When the jīva [the lord of the body] receives a new material body or leaves an old one, it carries these [six senses, including the mind] along with it, just as the wind carries the fragrance of a flower.”
