Mrigavyadha, Sharva, the greatly renowned Nirriti, Ajaikapad, Ahirbudhnya, Pinakin the scourge of foes, Dahana, Ishvara, Kapalin, O lord of the people, Sthanu, the lord Bhava — these Rudras appeared there; the two Ashvins, the eight Vasus, the mighty Maruts, the Vishvedevas and the Sadhyas were present there, arrayed around. Karkotaka, Shesha, the serpent Vasuki, Kachchhapa, Apakunda and the great serpent Takshaka came, full of splendor, greatly wrathful, mighty; these and many other nagas were arrayed there; Tarkshya, Arishtanemi, Garuda, Asitadhvaja, Aruna and Aruni — these sons of Vinata stood arrayed.”
