ततस् ते पाण्डवाः सर्वे पाञ्चाल्यश् च महायशाः ॥
प्रत्युत्थाय महात्मानं कृष्णं दृष्ट्वाभ्यपूजयन् ॥
प्रतिनन्द्य स तान् सर्वान् पृष्ट्वा कुशलम् अन्ततः ॥
आसने काञ्चने शुभ्रे निषसाद महामनाः ॥
अनुज्ञातास् तु ते सर्वे कृष्णेनामिततेजसा ॥
आसनेषु महार्हेषु निषेदुर् द्विपदां वराः ॥

tatas te pāṇḍavāḥ sarve pāñcālyaś ca mahāyaśāḥ ||
pratyutthāya mahātmānaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ dṛṣṭvābhyapūjayan ||
pratinandya sa tān sarvān pṛṣṭvā kuśalam antataḥ ||
āsane kāñcane śubhre niṣasāda mahāmanāḥ ||
anujñātās tu te sarve kṛṣṇenāmitatejasā ||
āsaneṣu mahārheṣu niṣedur dvipadāṃ varāḥ ||

Translation

Vaishampayana said: 'Then all the Pandavas and the illustrious prince of Panchala, rising to greet him and beholding the great Krishna Dvaipayana, honored him; and he, having greeted them all and asked after their welfare, sat down upon a bright golden seat, great of soul; and with his permission all of them, the best of men, sat down upon precious seats.'
