जीवसूर् वीरसूर् भद्रे बहुसौख्यसमन्विता ॥
सुभगा भोगसंपन्ना यज्ञपत्नी स्वनुव्रता ॥
अतिथीन् आगतान् साधून् बालान् वृद्धान् गुरूंस् तथा ॥
पूजयन्त्या यथान्यायं शश्वद् गच्छन्तु ते समाः ॥

subhagā bhogasaṃpannā yajñapatnī svanuvratā ||
atithīn āgatān sādhūn bālān vṛddhān gurūṃs tathā ||

Translation
"Bearer of living children, bearer of heroes, O auspicious one, endowed with many joys, fortunate, abounding in pleasures, priestess-wife, faithful to your vows; honoring, as is proper, the guests who arrive, the righteous, children, elders, and teachers, may the years flow to you unceasingly."

Here the blessing outlines the dharma of the householder woman. It is significant that a wife's happiness is bound to service: honoring guests, elders, the righteous -- this is her true adornment. The prosperity of a household rests on hospitality and reverence for the worthy. Thus the scripture shows the image of the virtuous housewife, and Kunti wishes her daughter-in-law long years spent in the service of dharma.
