दिदृक्षवश् च कौन्तेयं द्वारकावासिनो जनाः ॥
नरेन्द्रमार्गम् आजग्मुस् तूर्णं शतसहस्रशः ॥
अवलोकेषु नारीणां सहस्राणि शतानि च ॥
भोजवृष्ण्यन्धकानां च समवायो महान् अभूत् ॥

narendramārgam ājagmus tūrṇaṃ śatasahasraśaḥ ||

Translation

Here the people of the Lord's city long to behold His friend. The residents of Dvaraka flock by the hundreds of thousands to see Arjuna: one close to the Lord draws hearts to himself just as the Lord Himself does. A devotee loved by Krishna becomes dear to all who love Krishna. So the verse shows the universal eagerness for Arjuna; and the honor given him is the fruit of his friendship with the Lord.
