The description reaches the ornaments: armlets, a necklace, a crown, bracelets, earrings.
The earrings are called makara-kuṇḍala — shaped like the sea-monster makara; such earrings are usual in descriptions of Viṣṇu and Kṛṣṇa, and mantra 44 of the first part already spoke of "swaying earrings".
It might seem that the details of adornment do not touch the essence. But the contemplation this book speaks of is the holding of an image, and an image is held by particulars: a crown, a gleam on a bracelet, the movement of an earring. A bare idea is not held in the mind.
This agrees with what the whole second part is occupied with: it answers the question of how the Transcendent manifests here — and answers it, in part, by describing Him in detail, down to the earrings.
The next mantra will complete the portrait and add to it the very thing for whose sake it was composed.
