अनुवाद

"While Drona, thus in battle slaying the Somakas, none advanced against him, and some others did not even strike at all. While that dreadful destruction of the finest heroes was taking place, Partha [Yudhishthira] suddenly heard the sound of the Panchajanya conch. Filled with Vasudeva's breath, the king of conches resounded loudly, while the heroes -- the guardians of the Sindhu king -- were fighting, and the sons of Dhritarashtra roared toward Vijaya's [Arjuna's] chariot; but the twang of Gandiva had vanished on every side. Stricken with despair, the king, the Pandava, fell to thinking."
