तम् न्तं सा मास्य जोत्तमम्
सात्यकिर् वायाम् वेलेवोद्वृत्तम् र्णवम्
नागं निवारितं दृष्ट्वा शैनेस्य रोत्तमैः
क्रुध्य णे राजञ् संधो हालः
तः क्रुद्धो हेष्वासो मार्गणैर् भासानैः
विध्य शिनेः पौत्रं संधो होसि

अनुवाद

Him, rushing [upon him] suddenly, the finest elephant of the Magadhan, Satyaki held back, as a shore [holds back] the surging ocean. Seeing the elephant held back by the finest arrows of Shaineya, Jalasandha, the mighty, grew angry in the battle, o king. Then the enraged great archer Jalasandha pierced the grandson of Shini [in] the broad chest with arrows, heavily dealing [death].
