Here the sage, having accomplished his task of instruction, departs to Krishna in Dvaraka. It is telling that Narada's path leads to the Lord: having planted in Yudhishthira the idea of the sacrifice, the messenger goes to where dwells the One without whom the sacrifice cannot be accomplished. Thus the scripture quietly points to Krishna as the center of what is to come; and next comes Narada's departure.
