译文
Narada said: "In olden times, in the age of the gods, O king, the lord Aditya [the Sun], having come down from heaven into the world of men and wandering in human form, untiring — having beheld the hall of the Self-Existent, told me of the hall of Brahma as it truly is, O Pandava."

Here the account rises to the highest of halls — the abode of the Creator himself. It is telling that even the Sun, descending into the world of men, shares this as supreme knowledge: the hall of the Forefather is not learned by sight alone but is passed on mouth to mouth, as a sacred thing. So the text prepares the way for describing the transcendent; and next Narada longs to see it himself.
