हिरण्यबिन्दोस् तीर्थे च स्नात्वा पुरुषसत्तमः ॥
दृष्टवान् पर्वतश्रेष्ठं पुण्यान्य् आयतनानि च ॥
अवतीर्य नरश्रेष्ठो ब्राह्मणैः सह भारत ॥
प्राचीं दिशम् अभिप्रेप्सुर् जगाम भरतर्षभः ॥

hiraṇyabindos tīrthe ca snātvā puruṣasattamaḥ ||
dṛṣṭavān parvataśreṣṭhaṃ puṇyāny āyatanāni ca ||

prācīṃ diśam abhiprepsur jagāma bharatarṣabhaḥ ||

Translation

Here the pilgrim moves tirelessly from shrine to shrine. It is significant that Arjuna does not linger but presses onward to new tirthas: one zealous for good does not settle for little. Here is diligence in the search for the sacred. Thus scripture shows the pilgrim's tirelessness; and his path leads eastward, toward new sanctuaries.
